AIACA can definitely be a part of the efforts to highlight the plight of the Varanasi Weavers and advocate for interventions by the government to help rectify the situation. We have already raised and allocated some money for a ‘fact finding’ study of the cluster, which we intend to use to advocate on the issue. This study would be tremendously useful as one of the foundations for advocacy efforts on Varanasi.
